Our online services provide residents the convenience of viewing and receiving their property tax and utility account details online. When you sign up, you will no longer receive a paper copy in the mail.

You will need your roll number and utility account number, along with your access code for each account. These access codes are on your property tax notice and utility invoice. To register - see tabs below for detailed instructions.

Credit Card payments are accepted online with a convenience fee of 2.5%. Click Here to make your payment.

HOME OWNER GRANTS

  • Must apply each year
  •  To apply online, visit gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant
  • To apply by phone, call toll free 1 888 355-2700
    • When you apply, you will need your social insurance number and folio number
  • Apply before the tax due date, July 04, 2023 to avoid a penalty

 

Instructions - How to Register Your Utility Account

  • Visit www.oliver.ca and select: Town Hall / Utility Bills/ Online Services
  • Click on Link and Register on the top of screen, this will connect to the Welcome to Online Services screen
  • On the Welcome to Online Services screen, New Users will click SHOW ME HOW and if you are already registered, Enter your User Name & Password
  • Type of Account - Use the drop down and select Utility Billing
  • Enter the 13 digit account number from the upper left hand corner of your utility invoice
  • Enter the 5 digit access code from the middle right hand side of your utility invoice in the Access Code/Pin field
  • Select the “Please Notify me by Email that my Utility Bill is ready”
  • Then choose either “I will View my Utility Bill Online” or “Attach a PDF Copy of the Utility Bill to the Email” (you cannot choose both)
  • Enter your email address to the email address field and click on the Send Verification Email. You will be sent a 6 digit verification code to the email address provided. You need to validate your account within 15 minutes
  • Enter verification code and click Continue
  • New Users - Enter a User Name, Email Address, click on the Send Verification Email, enter Verification code, Password (requires 8 characters including 1 special character eg: ! ” # $ % &) and Confirm Password. Click Save
  • Once registered a confirmation email will be sent to the registered user

  • Visit www.oliver.ca and select: Town Hall/ Property Taxes / Online Services

  • Enter the last 8 digits of your roll number (after the 555, including the decimal) from the upper right hand corner of your property tax notice in the ROLL field
  • Enter the 5 digit access code from the upper right of your property tax notice below the roll number in the Access Code/Pin field
  • Select the "Please Notify me by Email that my Property Tax Notice is Ready"
  • Then choose either "I will View my Property Tax Notice Online" or "Attach a PDF Copy of the Property Tax Notice to the Email" (you cannot choose both)

Property Information for the Public

 

The public can obtain a legal description, assessment, or property tax information on a particular property without having to register.  The user can search by Jurisdiction-Roll Number (555-15999.999), PID (999-999-999), address, or postal code.  Billing, payments and Home Owner Grant history is only available to property owners who LINK AND REGISTER with Access code/Pin.
